Christmas Came EarlyI ordered 2 surprise boxes from TAC, along with some stamps (of course) for my Christmas present to myself. Here's a picture of all that I got! I can't wait to start playing with it all.
I couldn't fit all of what I got into the picture - this is just a part of one box.
Here's a project that I worked on last week. It is wood letters that I got and decorated (I like the ones from Walmart best because of their size and flatness).
For those of you that haven't done these, they are so easy and look so neat. I made some for my daughter's room that spells out her name. For Christmas I'm making some for my nieces and nephew. First you paint the letters, for this project I used a metallic blue and painted two coats. Next you use mod podge and add designer paper. Cut the letters out and sand them down so that there aren't rough edges. Then add embellishments. And voila! Beautiful.
I love Christmas, so hopefully you'll be seeing a lot more Christmas projects these next couple of weeks.
